Caitlin Clark has been one of the biggest stars in basketball over the past several years.

Clark is currently with the Indiana Fever, playing in her second season in the WNBA. She's playing alongside some of the best and most popular players in the league, including Kelsey Mitchell, Aliyah Boston and Sophie Cunningham.

While Clark is thriving in the WNBA, a recent report surfaced that the Fever guard had a chance to play elsewhere.

Tattoo, the voice of the Big 3 basketball league, recently reported that the Big 3 offered Caitlin Clark $15 million to play 10 weeks in the league, but she ultimately turned down the offer before her rookie season.

"We offered Caitlin Clark $15 million," Tattoo said. "It started at five but the official final offer was $15 million for 10 weeks... She must be making some good dough, and I just think it was more like a leak more than anything."

While many believed the offer was previously $5 million for the women's basketball star, Tattoo confirmed that they extended a final offer of $15 million, well over her salary for the WNBA.

Clark came into the WNBA as a star after breaking the NCAA's all-time scoring record for both men's and women's basketball.

Clark passed Pete Maravich for the milestone, scoring 3,951 points in her career with the Iowa Hawkeyes and leading the program to two Final Four appearances.

Clark has been thriving in the WNBA, but injuries have derailed her second season. She's missed 25 games for the Indiana Fever.

While she was healthy, Clark posted 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game.
