The WNBA season is just over a month away, and with anticipation building for Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever to return to the floor, the No. 1 overall pick is enjoying one final offseason moment.

A known golf enthusiast—and a talented player herself—Clark has been attending the Masters Tournament this weekend, which wraps up on Sunday at Augusta National.

During an interview at the course, Clark shared a fun and unexpected offseason development: her Fever teammates have asked her to teach them how to golf. It’s a challenge she seems genuinely excited about, adding another layer to the growing bond within the team.

“I have a lot of teammates that also don’t play…they want me to help them get into it which I think is super cute," Clark said. "They want to go out and play."

Caitlin Clark has dabbled into the golf scene a competitive level as she participated in the The ANNIKA Pro-Am alongside professional golfers Annika Sorenstam and Nelly Korda.

“It was so fun,” Clark said after the golf tournament. “Getting to see (Nelly and Annika) do what they do up front, people would pay for that. I got to do it for free and have fun with them."

While Clark may be a talented golfer—and possibly even ready to coach her teammates on the course—her focus will soon return to the hardwood. She's set to begin her second WNBA season on May 17, when the Fever open at home against Angel Reese and the Chicago Sky.

Indiana has had a busy offseason, making key upgrades around Clark as they aim to take the next step following a first-round playoff exit last year. The Fever hired new head coach Stephanie White and added veteran talent in DeWanna Bonner, Natasha Howard, Sophie Cunningham, Sydney Colson, and Brianna Turner.
