While much of the spotlight on the Indiana Fever centers around superstar Caitlin Clark, several other players have been stepping up in big ways. Indiana enters its upcoming road trip, starting Thursday against the Golden State Valkyries, riding a two-game win streak.
One of the more under-the-radar contributors has been Lexie Hull. In Tuesday’s 88-71 win over the Connecticut Sun, Hull scored eight points, grabbed three rebounds and posted an impressive +29 plus-minus in her 31 minutes on the floor.
Hull, who continues to grow in popularity with teammates and fans, shared her latest tunnel walk outfit, a trend that's gaining traction in the WNBA:
“Successful business trip ✔️ Shoutout @athleta x @azsn_studio for styling me for a tunnel look this season. Athleta’s Apero Mesh Tank & Transcend Scoop Bra paired perfectly with this skirt set from @wardrobe.nyc. It’s giving corporate ”
What caught many eyes wasn’t just the look, but Caitlin Clark’s reaction. Clark chimed in with a simple, enthusiastic reply:
“Love love love.”
Hull has been with the Fever since being selected sixth overall in the 2022 WNBA draft after a standout career with the Stanford Cardinal. She played a key role this offseason in the Unrivaled league, where she helped her team capture the championship.
So far this season, the 25-year-old is averaging 9.6 points and 4.2 rebounds per game. She was especially effective in Saturday’s win over New York, scoring 14 points in 34 minutes.
The Fever now prepare for a stretch of three straight road games: Thursday at Golden State, Sunday at the Las Vegas Aces and Tuesday at the Seattle Storm. They return home on June 26.
