Aliyah Boston had a dominant run in her first season in the 3-on-3 league Unrivaled. The Indiana Fever star averaged 18.9 points, 9.7 rebounds, 2.5 assists and 2.1 blocks en route to winning Defensive Player of the Year.

Unfortunately for Boston, she suffered an injury right before the 2026 Unrivaled playoffs. She sustained what was referred to as a right lower extremity injury, forcing her to miss the postseason with Phantom BC.

Making matters worse, Boston was also unable to join Team USA in the FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament in San Juan, Puerto Rico, in mid-March. She was initially named to the roster but had to be replaced because of the injury.

The good news is that Boston appears to be recovering well from her injury. In fact, the Fever revealed on Monday that the 24-year-old forward had a workout session with the team, even sharing photos of Boston taking some shots and working on her post game.

"workout sesh with @aliyah.boston," the Fever wrote in the caption of the post.

Caitlin Clark, for her part, commented on the Fever's update and revealed that she was with Boston during her latest workout.

"Was lucky enough to see this w my own eyes… blessed," Clark wrote.

It's still unknown if Boston is experiencing any lingering effects of her injury and whether or not they are limiting her in any way. Regardless, the fact that she's able to get back on the court suggests that she's at least close to being 100%. Clark's message also hinted that Boston's workout went well.

The 2026 WNBA season is scheduled to kick off on May 8, so the Fever's post about Boston is significant amid questions and concerns about her availability.
