Caitlin Clark's Foundation Makes Announcement on Tuesday

Caitlin Clark had quite an unfortunate second season with the Indiana Fever. While she was selected as an All-Star — and a captain at that — she ended up playing just 13 games due to groin and ankle injuries.

The Fever eventually had to rule out the 23-year-old guard for the rest of the season and the playoffs. Clark ended up averaging 16.5 points, 5.0 rebounds, 8.8 assists and 1.6 steals per game.

Now, Clark is continuing her recovery from her injuries, with head coach Stephanie White recently saying that the star guard is progressing toward playing in 5-on-5 scrimmages.

Aside from her rehab work, though, Clark is also keeping herself busy, from attending other sports games to playing golf.

However, Clark is not the only one on her team who's making moves this WNBA offseason. Her organization, the Caitlin Clark Foundation, also continues to grow its presence online.

On Tuesday, Clark's foundation revealed that it has created a Facebook page where it will be sharing updates about the organization's efforts and other initiatives. It also asked its Instagram community to follow them on the new platform.

On its Facebook page, the Caitlin Clark Foundation indicated that it hopes to open "doors for kids to learn, grow and thrive through education, nutrition and sports," noting that "when kids have the right support, their futures are changed forever."

Clark herself has over 3.6 million followers on Instagram and 579,000 followers on X. That being said, it shouldn't take long for her foundation to gain more followers on Facebook as well, especially when she starts promoting the account.
