There were a lot of talking points from the Indiana Fever's 90-88 loss to the New York Liberty on Saturday night.
However, the most controversial moment of the game was perhaps the non-call on Caitlin Clark in the Fever's final possession.
With Indiana down two points and just seconds remaining in the game, Clark lost the ball even before she could attempt a shot or a pass. Liberty guard Natasha Cloud came up with a clutch steal against the reigning WNBA Rookie of the Year, which sealed the win for New York.
Clark immediately rushed to the referees to complain about the non-call, but to no avail. There was just no changing the fact that the Fever had suffered their second loss of the season.
FOUL OR NO FOUL? Natasha Cloud locked up Caitlin Clark & was NOT called for a foul — even though Caitlin wanted one — while forcing the game-saving turnover!

Clark, who finished with 18 points, five rebounds, 10 assists and 10 turnovers in the loss, was asked to share her thoughts on the controversial play during her postgame press conference.
The 6-foot guard got brutally honest with her comments.
"I'd have to go back and watch. ... I don't know," she said, via ESPN.
Clark must have seen the replay by now, and perhaps she may already have a stronger opinion on the play in question. What is clear, though, is that the Fever star got pretty heated in the immediate aftermath of the incident as she made her case with the game officials.

The Fever have now fallen to 2-2 after Saturday's loss. They will want to bounce back and get back to winning ways in their next game, which comes in the form of a road matchup against the Washington Mystics on Wednesday.
