Caitlin Clark spent four seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes, setting the all-time NCAA Division I scoring record (men’s and women’s) with 3,951 career points in the process. While she wasn't able to win a championship with the program, there's no denying that she's the greatest women's basketball player to ever suit up for the team.

Now, it has been over two years since Clark left the Hawkeyes and entered the WNBA. Despite that, she remains supportive of the women's basketball program and continues to stay updated on everything happening with the team.

On Tuesday, Clark couldn't help but panic a bit after she saw Iowa head coach Jan Jensen's post directed at Hawkeye fans.

Jensen shared a post featuring a graphic with a long text alongside a photo of her smiling. The Iowa coach started the message with a "Dear Hawkeye Nation" remark before proceeding to thank the fans for their overwhelming support through the years.

However, because of the graphic and the seemingly serious start of the message, several fans thought Jensen was saying goodbye instead of sharing an appreciation post.

Clark was among those who thought that, commenting, "Jump scare graphic."

The Indiana Fever star's comment certainly summed up what many felt after seeing the post, with one fan replying, "for real."

"Got me thinkin Jan was entering the transfer portal," a commenter wrote. Another one told Clark, "exactly I was like what!!??"

"Literally had to take deep breaths," a follower stated. A fifth poster said, "I was unwell im like Jan’s leaving?!!!"

The good news is that Jensen is not going anywhere and Clark and the rest of Hawkeye Nation can expect to see her lead the program for the years to come.

Jensen is coming off a season in which she guided Iowa to a 27-7 record, reaching the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
