Caitlin Clark's One-Handed Pass Earns New Nickname From Rebecca Lobo

After securing a perfect 3-0 record in the preseason, the best in the WNBA, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever opened up the regular season with a primetime game.

On Saturday afternoon, the Fever tipped off Clark's second season with a battle against the Chicago Sky at Gainbridge Fieldhouse (Indianapolis, IN).

And it didn't take long for Clark to impress fans and the commentators with her playmaking.

With just over seven minutes to play in the third quarter, the Fever held a 48-38 lead. After Clark dribbled down the court, she spun away from a Sky defender before slinging a one-handed bounce pass to new Fever center Natasha Howard for an easy layup. 

With the game aired on ABC, Ryan Ruocco and Rebecca Lobo were on the call. Ruocco was impressed with Clark's assist to Howard, dubbing it a "delectable dime."

"Bouncing, what a find and Howard lays it in on a delectable dime from Caitlin Clark," Ruocco said.

Even Lobo enjoyed her partner's commentary, cementing "delectable dime" as the highlight's new nickname by repeating it back.
