When Caitlin Clark's name graces the headlines, it's generally because she's just done something the world has never seen before. In her second season in the WNBA, at just 23 years of age, Clark continues to climb leaderboards and threaten records with her unreal play.
Tuesday night, however, was the rare occasion when Clark had a night she'll most likely try to forget. With Clark's Indiana Fever on the road taking on the Seattle Storm, the Fever came away with a 94-86 win.
Despite her team's victory, Clark struggled mightily in this one. She finished 0-for-6 from 3-point range on Tuesday, scoring just six points in 31 minutes played.
While Clark has been known to turn the ball over, averaging 5.6 turnovers per game heading into Tuesday night, that part of her game is usually overshadowed by her magical playmaking abilities.
Well, Clark posted a quite unfortunate stat line vs. the Storm on Tuesday, finishing with more turnovers (eight) than points (six) for the first time in her career.
According to @trendyhoopstars on X, Clark has never played a basketball game (collegiately or professionally) when she posted more turnovers than points.

Tuesday night's matchup with the Storm was Game No. 48 of Clark's WNBA career. Clark also played 139 games in her collegiate career.
While Clark is tied for the league lead in assists per game (8.9), her 5.6 turnovers per game leads the league as well.
Clark's long-range shooting has also been a struggle this week. Tuesday night's game against the Storm marked just the third game in Clark's WNBA career when she failed to make a 3-pointer.
