
Cameron Brink sustained an ankle injury against the Golden State Valkyries and is out indefinitely. She provided an update on her status and drew support from fans and her Los Angeles Sparks teammates.
The 24-year-old center posted a carousel of photos on her Instagram on Wednesday, nine days after she got hurt. The snaps included her different moments from this season, showcasing her strong bond with her teammates and her fashion.
The last slide displayed her injured ankle, still swollen and bruised. Brink has missed Los Angeles' last two games but made it clear that she plans to return to action soon.

Brink quickly drew the support of teammates and friends alike.

The Sparks hold an 8-8 record this season and are hanging on to the No. 8 seed. They will play their next two games on the road before hosting three straight games.
Brink has appeared in 14 games this season, including one start. She is enjoying her best WNBA campaign, averaging a career-high 9.2 points, along with 4.4 rebounds, 1.1 assists and 1.5 blocks in 17.5 minutes.
However, she contributes beyond what the stat sheets show. The Stanford product energizes her team with hustle plays off the bench. Her return will provide a huge boost as Los Angeles aims to reach the playoffs for the first time in six years.
