The Chicago Sky are still yet to win a game under new head coach Tyler Marsh as they have an 0-3 record early in the 2025 WNBA season.
While the team has played a tough schedule that included two 2024 playoff teams -- the Indiana Fever and New York Liberty -- they also dropped a 91 to 78 contest against the Los Angeles Sparks. Last season, the Sparks only won eight games all year, which was the fewest in the WNBA.
None of the three matchups have been competitive so far, as the Sky are getting outscored by an average of 24.3 points per game.
Veteran guard Moriah Jefferson has yet to make an appearance during the 2025 season for the Chicago Sky. She has been dealing with a leg injury that had sidelined her through the first three contests.
However, on Tuesday, the Sky officially announced their injury report before their matchup against the 3-1 Phoenix Mercury. Jefferson was left off entirely, which means that she will make her 2024 season debut on Tuesday evening.

Jefferson finished second in the WNBA Rookie of the Year award voting in 2016. She has carved out an eight-year career with six different franchises.
She averaged a career-best 13.9 points per game during the 2016 season, and has contributed 10 or more points per night during three of her professional campaigns. Last season for the Sky, Jefferson played in 14 games, scoring a total of 12 points and dishing out 24 assists.
On Tuesday, she will help the Sky take on the Mercury as they search for their first win of the Coach Marsh era.
