The Chicago Sky currently sit in 12th place in the league standings with a 5-13 record during the 2025 WNBA season. Chicago is currently on a two-game losing streak and has lost six of its last eight contests.
Star forward Angel Reese has been highly productive during the Sky's last five games, averaging 19.4 points, 16.6 rebounds and 5.0 assists (via Pro Basketball Reference). She has also recorded more than 15 points and 15 rebounds for five consecutive contests.
Reese has also had a big week off the court, as she was named to her second All-Star team on Sunday, Reebok announced the release of her upcoming "Angel Reese 1" signature shoe, and she was named the cover athlete for EA Sports' 2K26 video game.
Unfortunately, before Wednesday's game against the 6-14 Dallas Wings, the Sky put Reese's name on the team's injury report with an apparent leg injury of undisclosed nature.
Just before the game against Dallas, however, first-year Sky head coach Tyler Marsh reported that Reese was a game-time decision. She has now officially been upgraded to available.
"Reese is a game-time decision, but there is nothing serious about her injury," Marsh said, via Chicago State of Mind Sports.

Reese has played in all 18 of the Sky's games during the 2025 WNBA season. She has contributed 13.2 points per contest, 12.9 rebounds per game, which leads the league, and a team-best 3.9 assists.
Wednesday's game will tip off at 8:00 p.m. ET at Wintrust Arena in Chicago. The Sky will also honor franchise legend Allie Quigley during the game against the Wings by retiring her jersey.
