The Chicago Sky faced off against the Los Angeles Sparks on Sunday, earning the victory at Crypto.com Arena, 92-85. It was a team victory, as they had five players score in double figures.

Forward Angel Reese led the charge with 24 points and 16 rebounds. This marked her fourth consecutive game with 15 or more rebounds, passing her prior record (3) for the longest streak of 15+ rebound games in WNBA history.

Guard Ariel Atkins contributed 20 points while center Elizabeth Williams added 12 points and nine rebounds.

After the game, Sky coach Tyler Marsh acknowledged that the interior dominance of both Reese and center Williams was key to their success.

"[Angel and Elizabeth] set the tone early. Those two asserted themselves inside," said Marsh.

Reese and Williams combined for 36 points and 25 rebounds that were pivotal to secure the win.

Adding to this, Marsh dove deeper into Reese's impact on the team, seamlessly stepping into her role.

"Angel was incredible tonight. Obviously missing KC, she had to do a little bit more. You can't say enough. It's little things she does as well that doesn't get the notice," said Marsh. "She's found a way which speaks to her maturity growing into this position and system."

Following tonight’s game, Reese joined A’ja Wilson, Jonquel Jones, and Lisa Leslie as the only players to post three consecutive games with at least 15 points and 15 rebounds. Each of them later won the WNBA MVP award.
