Angel Reese played some inspired basketball on Sunday to lead the Chicago Sky to a much-needed victory. This team was in dire need of a win after suffering three consecutive blowout losses, which produced an incredible performance from Reese.
The All-Star forward registered the first triple-double of her career with 11 points, 13 rebounds and 11 assists, to go along with three steals and two blocks in 36 minutes of action.
Thanks to Reese's strong play, the Sky were able to secure a 78-66 road win over the Connecticut Sun at Mohegan Sun Arena.
Shortly after the final buzzer, the Sky posted a video of head coach Tyler Marsh addressing his team in the locker room. The first-year shot-caller singled out Reese for the tremendous effort she put in.
"Your potential is through the roof," Marsh told Reese after the 23-year-old received a congratulatory water bottle shower from her teammates. "Your talent is through the roof. And we ain't never gonna put no limits on that.
"You created for everybody. You created for yourself. You rebounded. You defended. All that is who you are. All that is who you are for us. And all that is what we believe you can be for us night in and night out.

Marsh then turned his attention to the rest of the squad, demanding that they carry the momentum of this crucial win to their next game.
"And that goes around in this locker room," he continued. "We stay connected. We stay believing. We carry this over to Washington."
The Sky get just one day off before they return to action on Tuesday. They get to host the Washington Mystics at Wintrust Arena, with tip-off scheduled for 8:00 P.M. ET.
