The Chicago Sky are hoping their fans will rally behind one of the franchise's brightest young stars ahead of a nationally anticipated matchup against the Indiana Fever.
On Thursday, just hours before tipoff in Indianapolis, the Sky took to social media with a clear message regarding center Kamilla Cardoso. The organization encouraged fans to vote Cardoso into the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game, sharing a graphic featuring the former South Carolina standout and writing, "written in the stars ✨ vote Kamilla Cardoso for All-Star!"
The post arrives at a time when Cardoso has continued to emerge as one of the WNBA's top young centers. While Chicago has battled through a difficult start to the season, the 25-year-old has been a consistent presence on both ends of the floor and remains one of the team's most important building blocks.
With All-Star voting underway and a marquee game against the Fever on deck, the Sky are making sure Cardoso's name stays front and center in the conversation.

Cardoso has quietly put together another productive season for Chicago.
Through 12 games, the 6-foot-7 center is averaging 12.3 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.9 blocks per game while shooting 51.4% from the field. Her ability to impact games as both a rim protector and rebounder has helped her remain one of the league's most effective young frontcourt players.
The former No. 3 overall pick has shown significant growth since entering the WNBA in 2024. After earning WNBA All-Rookie honors during her debut season, Cardoso increased her scoring average to 13.6 points per game in 2025 while helping establish herself as one of the league's rising stars.
Recently, her defensive presence has been particularly noticeable. Over her last five games, Cardoso has averaged three blocks per contest and continues to rank among the WNBA's top interior defenders.
Against the Atlanta Dream on Tuesday, she recorded 13 points, five assists, four blocks and a steal while shooting 6-for-7 from the floor.
Thursday's matchup against Indiana presents another opportunity for Chicago to gain momentum.
The Sky enter the game with a 4-8 record and are looking to snap a two-game losing streak. Meanwhile, the Fever sit at 6-5 and are coming off a dramatic victory over the Washington Mystics earlier this week.
Despite the team's record, Cardoso has remained one of Chicago's most reliable performers. Her production on both ends of the floor has helped keep the Sky competitive, and the organization clearly believes her efforts deserve recognition when All-Star rosters are announced later this season.
As the Sky prepare to face one of the WNBA's most popular teams, they are also hoping fans answer their latest call.
Their message before tipoff was simple: Vote Kamilla Cardoso for the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game.
