The Chicago Sky faced off against Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings on Thursday night, looking to earn their first win of the season.
Chicago began the season with a 0-4 record, tying a franchise-worst start to the season. Before they played the Wings, the Sky lost to the Indiana Fever, New York Liberty, Los Angeles Sparks and Phoenix Mercury.
During their matchup against the Wings, Chicago announced some exciting news about team legend Courtney Vandersloot.
Vandersloot has officially become the Chicago Sky's all-time leading scorer.
"SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT," posted the official social media account of the Chicago Sky, noting Vandersloot has become the team’s all-time leading scorer, passing her wife, Allie Quigley.
At this point, Vandersloot had posted 3,724 points in her career with the Sky, passing her wife, Allie Quigley, as mentioned by Chicago.

Courtney Vandersloot was drafted by the Chicago Sky in 2011. She played with the franchise from 2011 to 2022.
After an incredible start to her career in Chicago, Vandersloot made the move to the New York Liberty. She played for the Liberty in 2023 and 2024, helping lead the organization to a WNBA championship last season.
As a starter for the Liberty during their championship run, she posted 6.4 points, 2.6 rebounds and 4.8 assists per game.
During her return year to the Chicago Sky, Courtney Vandersloot has averaged 11.0 points, 3.5 rebounds and 5.3 assists per game.
She's also made quite the impact on the defensive end, posting 1.5 steals per game.
