Paige Bueckers continues to improve game by game in her rookie season with the Dallas Wings.
Bueckers recently led the Wings into a matchup against the Golden State Valkyries, playing one of the most surprising teams of the WNBA season.
Golden State has found success in the first-ever season of the franchise, following an expansion draft in the offseason.
Despite the unexpected camaraderie on the Wings and recent success for the Valkyries, all eyes were on Bueckers in their most recent matchup.
On Tuesday, Bueckers led the Wings to an 80-71 victory over Golden State.
After the game, Paige Bueckers was announced as the "Player of the Game," posting 20 points, four rebounds and two assists, leading Dallas in scoring.
"Your @childrens Player of the Game: @paigebueckers1," posted the official social media account of the Dallas Wings.

Paige Bueckers recently returned to the lineup after missing some time while the Dallas Wings rookie was on concussion protocol and dealt with an unexpected illness.
She made her return in the Wings's previous game on June 12, putting on a show in her first game back with Dallas. When she returned, Bueckers posted 35 points, six rebounds and four assists.
She had another game over the 20-point mark against the Valkyries, proving that her scoring ability from her time with the UConn Huskies at the collegiate level has certainly transferred well.
Paige Bueckers and the Dallas Wings entered the game as the bottom-ranked team in the WNBA. Despite the previous struggles, they have now moved to 2-11 on the season.
