It’s safe to say Angel Reese has had the kind of 24 hours that most athletes can only dream about. She landed on the cover of NBA 2K26. Talk about making a statement.
On top of that, she dropped her line of custom sneakers with Reebok, proving she’s not just showing up on the court but making big moves off it too. With all these milestones stacking up, it didn’t take long for Dwyane Wade to chime in, and the NBA legend had quite the bold prediction for the 23-year-old rising star.
Wade complimented Reese for her achievements on his Instagram story. He shared Reese's WNBA 2K26 post and captioned it, “She’s just getting started ... Congrats cover star and the debut of the sneakers went crazy.”
On Wednesday, Reebok officially dropped Reese's first signature shoe, the Reebok Angel Reese 1. Reese is now the fifth active WNBA player rocking her kicks.
She’s also only the second player ever to get a signature shoe from Reebok, following legend Rebecca Lobo in 1997. The “Diamond Dust” colorway couldn’t have come at a better time either. Reese is about to make her second All-Star appearance next week in Indy.
But that’s not all: Reese is also gracing the cover of NBA 2K26, joining the likes of Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Carmelo Anthony. Even though her Chicago Sky squad is struggling this season, Reese is crushing it. She’s averaging over 13 points, snagging rebounds like crazy, and just became the fastest WNBA player to hit 500 points and 500 boards with a record 15 straight double-doubles.
