The Indiana Fever are preparing for a win-or-go-home Game 3 against the Atlanta Dream in the first round of the WNBA playoffs on Thursday night.

With injured superstar Caitlin Clark ruled out for the rest of the season, Indiana center Aliyah Boston has impressed fans by putting the team on her shoulders alongside fellow All-Star Kelsey Mitchell.

Boston is averaging career-highs of 15.0 points and 3.7 assists this season, while also pulling down 8.2 rebounds per game.

No matter what happens in the Fever's decisive game against the Dream, fans of the former South Carolina Gamecocks star got exciting news when her next move was announced.

Boston will appear as a guest on Sue Bird's "Birds Eye View" podcast on Friday, as confirmed by the show's social media Thursday afternoon.

"She’s an investor, an in-studio analyst, and a force on the court," Bird's show said in an announcement. "@aa_boston from the @IndianaFever joins the pod this week."

She joins an incredible list of guests on Bird's show, including Clark and fellow Fever teammate Natasha Howard. Napheesa Collier, Kelsey Plum and Sabrina Ionescu are just a few of the other hugely popular guests from around the league.

Boston, 23, will share the mic with Bird, who was recently immortalized with a statue by her longtime team, the Seattle Storm. A former No. 1 pick out of UConn, Bird went on to win four WNBA titles with Seattle and five Olympic gold medals.

Despite the gap in experience, it will be a comfortable position for Boston. She co-hosts her own podcast , "Post Moves," with WNBA legend Candace Parker.

The episode with Bird was likely recorded before Thursday's Game 3. Depending on the outcome of the game, it will either be a welcome distraction for Fever fans or something to keep them entertained until the semifinal round begins on Sunday.

Either way, there will be something for any women's basketball fan to be excited for when Bird sits down with Indiana's rising star both on and off the court.
