The Dallas Wings are back in action on Thursday as they host the 12-5 Phoenix Mercury at College Park Center. The Wings will be looking to make it back-to-back wins following their 79-71 victory over the Washington Mystics on Saturday.

The good news for Dallas is that they will get Paige Bueckers back for Thursday's matchup. The No. 1 overall pick was forced to sit out Saturday's win due to a knee injury, but she has now been cleared to return.

Bueckers was not listed on the team's injury report for the Mercury game, which is an exciting development for both the Wings and the former UConn star.

Bueckers will now look to turn in another strong performance amid what has been an impressive rookie campaign. In 13 games played this season, the 6-foot guard has produced averages of 18.4 points on 46.1% shooting, 4.3 rebounds, 5.8 assists and 1.8 steals, while also knocking down 1.1 triples per contest.

Despite Bueckers' return, however, the Wings are still dealing with a concerning injury crisis. Arike Ogunbowale, DiJonai Carrington, Ty Harris, Myisha Hines-Allen and Maddy Siegrist have all been listed as out against Phoenix, which means that Dallas will be significantly shorthanded yet again.

Bueckers will have no choice but to carry much of the load for an undermanned Wings side, which is looking to improve on its 5-13 record. Dallas, though, has won four out of its last six games, so this team will be looking to keep that momentum going on Tuesday.
