The 2025 WNBA season is right around the corner, and Caitlin Clark is gearing up for her second season with the Indiana Fever.

Clark will be surrounded by new talent in 2025 after the Fever made moves to improve the team over the offseason. Stephanie White replaced Christie Sides as Indiana's head coach, while the Fever added standout players like DeWanna Bonner and Sophie Cunningham.

Amid the offseason, Clark has been referenced by two popular television shows in the past week. One of the references came in the drama series "Law & Order," and the second came in the animated comedy "Family Guy."

In the April 6th premiere of "Family Guy" titled "Hard Times at Adam West High," Brian (dog) and Chris (human) go back in time and look into sports betting.

Brian and Chris didn’t know much about the WNBA beyond Clark when looking at upcoming games to bet on, unfamiliar with teams like the Los Angeles Sparks and Washington Mystics — a subtle jab at the league’s visibility outside of Clark.

"Ah, here we go, WNBA," Brian says, "There's a Mystics-Sparks game today. Remember who won that?"

"I don't even know what city they're from," Chris responded, to which Brian asked, "Which one has Caitlin Clark?"

"I don't know, both of them. Neither," Chris finishes.

Clark has undoubtedly helped the popularity of the WNBA and women's basketball in general, constantly breaking attendance and viewership records during her time with Iowa and Indiana.

But the league's popularity goes well beyond Clark, with stars such as Paige Bueckers, Angel Reese and A'ja Wilson taking (or about to take) the WNBA by storm.
