The Indiana Fever recently defeated the Chicago Sky, finding success without Caitlin Clark.
Indiana has won six of its last eight games, seemingly picking up momentum in the second half of the WNBA season. The Fever defeated Chicago 92-70.
After the win over the Sky, Kelsey Mitchell spoke on the resiliency of the Fever, given the injury woes throughout the season.
"I think this is the most resilient team I've ever been a part of, and I say that wholeheartedly," Mitchell said.
Natasha Howard followed Mitchell's message with a note on the Fever's dedication while sending a message to Clark as Indiana waits for her return.
"We will always fighting for each other but we feel this fight is a little different with our girls out the lineup," Howard said. "All the hard work they’ve put in over this season won’t go unnoticed. Win are [sic] lose just know we are fighting to the end for Syd,CC & Ari. See you soon CC."

Caitlin Clark has played 13 games this season. The Indiana Fever star has been rehabbing through a leg injury. When Clark has been active, the Fever guard has averaged 16.5 points, 5 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game.
She has found success in the stat sheet, but health has been a major sign of concern for the WNBA star in her second season in the league.
The Indiana Fever sit at No. 5 in the standings with an 18-14 record, having won six of their last 10 games.
