Former WNBA Award Winner Sends Clear Message on Brutal Comments

The Washington Mystics have started the WNBA season with a 3-5 record, and they're continuing to grow with each other as they have a mix of young players and veterans on the team. In their latest loss against the Indiana Fever on Tuesday night, both the vets and rookies did their best to try and reel the team to victory, but to no avail.

Brittney Sykes and Kiki Iriafen led the way for the Mystics as they both had 20 points apiece, and they've been the two players who have played wll for the team since the season started. As the year continues, it wouldn't be a surprise to see other players step up as well.

A day after their game, Sykes went on social media not to talk about the game that she had against the Fever, but about what people have been posting regarding her child.

"Goodmorning World! Do me a favor and help me report a woman who believes posting my kid on her page is okay …… Trolling is trolling but leave KIDS out of it. Child Safety .. he is a MINOR," Sykes wrote on X, formerly Twitter.

Sykes attached a screenshot of a user using a picture of her child as a meme, and the Mystics' guard was not fond of the person doing that.

Hopefully, the user realizes that Skyes doesn't want her child used as a meme on social media, and they decide to delete it.

Sykes is a former All-Rookie selection and has made the All-Defensive team four times in her career.
