The CC’s are flying. Caitlin Clark walked into Gainbridge Fieldhouse and saw her initials everywhere. The Indiana Fever turned their home court into a full-blown tribute, celebrating the launch of her new Nike logo with shirts, signs, and even thundersticks marked with her signature “CC” design.
“Hard,” Caitlin Clark wrote on Instagram, reacting to the photos of the arena filled with fans wearing her logo. The moment wasn’t just about branding — it was personal.
“To me, this is more than just a logo, it’s a dream come true,” Caitlin Clark said. “People always talk about leaving your mark on the game, and this is another way I can do that”.
The logo, a clean interlocking “CC,” is part of her historic $28 million deal with Nike. It marks the beginning of a full product line, with shirts dropping in September and a signature shoe expected in 2026.
Teammates can play a role even when they can’t directly chip in. And that’s what Caitlin Clark’s been keeping herself busy with, aside from her main assignment of recovering properly. And even in this special moment, it adds joy to the rest of the team.
Caitlin Clark continues to be the face of the franchise — not just for her play, but for what she represents. Her logo is now part of that story, a symbol of impact that goes beyond the court.
Caitlin Clark is still working her way back from a right groin injury that’s kept her out since mid-July. While she’s been seen doing non-contact drills and warmups, she hasn’t returned to full practice.
“I want to see her continue to work to not just build endurance,” Fever coach Stephanie White said, according to the IndyStar’s Chloe Peterson. “But to be able to handle contact 94 feet as it’s going to be in-game, and to be able to do that and sustain it from an endurance standpoint, and that’s going to take multiple practices to make sure that there’s no regression”.
Caitlin Clark has already missed 16 straight games. And while her contribution is sorely missed, the Fever can’t rush it. They have to think of the long term for their investment. They still believe that their trust is not misplaced. They need to be patient.
Until the storm is over, Caitlin Clark will continue to nurse her groin injury away from the game. Her current assignment: Recovery, Moral Support, and be ready to rumble. We can’t tell at this point if a return is in the books this season. Fans will continue to hold their breath.
