The WNBA announced its 2026 national broadcast schedule on Wednesday, placing the Indiana Fever on television for every game. This historic move marks the first time a franchise will broadcast 100% of its matchups on national networks.

High demand from TV and streaming companies is producing substantial income for the league. The WNBA plans to broadcast a record 216 national games across various partner networks. However, no other team commands the spotlight quite like the Fever right now. They stand alone with a broadcast schedule never seen in professional women’s basketball history.

This programming shift stems directly from the immense popularity of Fever superstar Caitlin Clark. Her presence on the court continues to drive growth in ticket and merchandise sales, as well as television viewership.

Indiana Fever celebrate historic 44 national TV games in 2026 schedule

The Fever announced the record-breaking news on Instagram Wednesday. The team wrote:

“Breaking TV records, AGAIN

all 44 games on national TV

most national TV games in franchise history

most national TV games for a single team in WNBA.”

The Fever shattered its own record of 41 nationally televised games from last year. This year, the Fever will have 44 games shown across nine different networks or streaming platforms. The Dallas Wings rank second with 36 national broadcasts, while the New York Liberty rank third with 35.

Fever fans can watch nine games on USA Network, while eight games will stream on Prime Video. The team will also appear four times on ABC, six times on ESPN and twice on NBC. Peacock will broadcast three Fever games, seven on ION, four on CBS and one on NBA TV.

Clark returns to the WNBA court seeking redemption after a difficult 2025 campaign. Recurring injuries limited the 24-year-old guard to 13 games last season. This resulted in the lowest shooting percentages of her professional career. Despite that, she was still named a WNBA All-Star for a second consecutive year.

Indiana also finished 24–20 and reached the playoffs, even without Clark for most of the campaign. The Fever remain focused on building on that success moving forward. Their goal is to compete for a championship this 2026 season.

The Fever will open their season on May 9 at Gainbridge Fieldhouse against the Dallas Wings. ABC will broadcast this opening game to a national television audience.
