The Indiana Fever defeated the New York Liberty at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis on Saturday afternoon, with a final score of 102-88, defeating the previously unbeaten New York Liberty.
Indiana delivered one of their most dominant performances of the 2025 WNBA season on Saturday afternoon. Minutes after the game ended, the Fever announced a franchise record that was broken on social media.
"we set a franchise record with 17 three-pointers made as a team in today’s win over the Liberty," the Fever wrote in their caption on a recent Instagram post , which included a picture of Lexie Hull, Kelsey Mitchell and Caitlin Clark, who scored seven out of those 17 three-pointers during the game.
Clark led the charge with a stellar all-around performance, scoring 32 points while knocking down seven shots from beyond the arc. She also added eight rebounds and nine assists in one of her most complete showings of the season. Mitchell chipped in 22 points and added three triples on 10 attempts, while Hull hit 3-of-4 attempts. Meanwhile, Sydney Colson scored two three-pointers while Damiris Dantas and Sophie Cunningham scored one three-pointer each.
This is Clark's first game in three weeks because she was recovering from a quad strain that she sustained the last time the Liberty and the Fever played against each other, which was on May 24. Her comeback caught attention from fans and NBA athletes, including Los Angeles Lakers' LeBron James and San Antonio Spurs' Chris Paul.
The Fever is set to play against the Connecticut Sun on Tuesday at Gainbridge Fieldhouse at 7 p.m. ET.
