Although the 2026 WNBA All-Star Game will be played at the United Center in Chicago, it might feel like a home game for the Indiana Fever.
The Fever confirmed Thursday that Aliyah Boston, Caitlin Clark and Kelsey Mitchell have all been named starters for the WNBA All-Star Game on July 26. While this trio is accustomed to playing in this exhibition game, it's the first year all three have been voted as starters.
"Boston, Clark and Mitchell have been staples at the WNBA All-Star game for the past three years, all three appearing in 2024 and 2025, with Boston and Mitchell also being part of the 2023 team. However, this year will mark the first time all three have been voted as starters, with Boston previously earning the honor in 2023 and 2025, and Clark doing so in 2024 and 2025. Mitchell’s selection as a WNBA All-Star starter marks the first time in her career she has earned said achievement, after being named a replacement starter in 2025," the Fever said in a press release.
"The trio now join Tamika Catchings (10 time All-Star) as the only other players in Indiana Fever history to be named to a WNBA All-Star roster three or more times, with Boston and Mitchell earning their fourth selection, and Clark her third."
Clark (21.2 points and 8.2 assists per game) is undoubtedly the biggest name on the Fever, but Boston (17.0 points and 8.6 rebounds per game) and Mitchell (21.6 points per game) have been just as important to the team's success.
Though it's not a huge surprise, Dallas Wings guard Paige Bueckers and Las Vegas Aces star A'ja Wilson will be starting in this year's All-Star Game.
WNBA fans will also get to see New York Liberty forward Brenna Stewart, Dallas Wings forward Jessica Shepard, Golden State Valkyries forward Gabby Williams, and Minnesota Lynx stars Natasha Howard and Olivia Miles on the hardwood.
The WNBA All-Star Game will be televised on ABC at 8:30 p.m. ET.
