Indiana Fever held special event for VIP fans

The Indiana Fever are the most popular team in the WNBA. Their fans, including season ticket holders and VIPs, flock to arenas around the country and Gainbridge Fieldhouse to watch them play live. The team made sure it showed their appreciation for them with a special event.

Indiana is currently 26-14 and fifth in the standings with four games left. It is battling with the Las Vegas Aces and Atlanta Dream for a top-three seed. The race will continue after the WNBA’s FIBA World Cup break, with the Fever facing the Toronto Tempo on Sept. 18 at Coca-Cola Coliseum. A home matchup against the Washington Mystics follows. They will wrap up their regular season with a home-and-away set versus the Minnesota Lynx.

Indiana Fever invited VIP fans to special event

Indiana held their Cocktails & Kicks Party on Aug. 26 at Prime 47 in downtown Indianapolis. Players, coaches and staff attended and mingled with VIP fans. The team posted a video showing some moments from the event on Instagram.

“We’re just enjoying time with our season ticket holders who support us so much,” the Fever wrote. “

Caitlin Clark, Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, among other players, appeared in the clip, along with members of the front office. They enjoyed the music, drinks and different activities that brought them closer to fans.

The team is amid the World Cup break but will still have some practices. Although the roster is not complete as Clark and Boston are in Berlin, Stephanie White and his staff will use the time to plan ahead. The Fever are guaranteed a playoff spot, but the seedings have not been finalized. They could finish as high as No. 2 or as low as No. 8 depending on game results.
