The Indiana Fever will look to get their second win of the new WNBA season on Thursday when they visit the Atlanta Dream. It will be a rematch of Tuesday's game between the two teams in Indianapolis, which the Dream won, 91-90.
In that last game, veteran All-Star center Brittney Griner shone brightly for the Dream with 21 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field, while Brionna Jones added 19 points and 13 rebounds. Caitlin Clark contributed 27 points and 11 assists, and Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell each scored 24, but it wasn't enough.
The good news for Indiana is that Sophie Cunningham, a guard it acquired in a massive trade during the offseason, is set to make her season debut after dealing with an ankle injury.

Cunningham spent each of her first six seasons with the Phoenix Mercury, where she was a teammate of Griner. Last season, she averaged 8.4 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.0 assists a game while shooting 37.8% from 3-point range.
She has the ability to give the Fever a supplemental offensive boost, whether she comes off the bench or ultimately moves into the starting lineup.
Cunningham was the No. 13 overall pick in the 2019 WNBA Draft by the Mercury. She played her college basketball at Missouri, where she finished her four-year career with averages of 17.0 points, 5.4 rebounds, 3.0 assists and 1.0 steals per game while shooting 50.1% from the field and 40.3% from 3-point range.
After tonight's game, the Fever will head back home to host the defending champion New York Liberty on Saturday.
