The Indiana Fever dominated the Connecticut Sun 88–71 on Tuesday night at Gainbridge Fieldhouse, fueled by Caitlin Clark’s all‑around brilliance. Clark led the way with 20 points, six assists and four three‑pointers, tying her season high from deep and sparking Indiana’s decisive 26–18 edge in the fourth quarter.

After the final buzzer WNBA took to Instagram to announce Clark as the top performer of the game. The Fever’s official X account then posted her stats along with the message.

“Caitlin Clark brought the ENERGY tonight ” They posted.

Clark was out due to a left quad injury for many games and only returned last game against the New York Liberty. She displayed a dominant 32-point performance that day, which carried forward to today as well.

With the victory, the Fever clinched a berth in the 2025 Commissioner's Cup title game for the first time in franchise history. They will face the Minnesota Lynx on July 1, who defeated the Las Vegas Aces to maintain top spot.

Indiana’s balanced attack featured contributions from Natasha Howard, who put up a double-double with 16 points and 12 rebounds.

The watch turned very physical in the third quarter, where Clark got into altercations multiple times with old rival Jacy Sheldon. There was a situation where Marina Mabrey pushed the Indiana guard to the ground, drawing major booing from the crowd. The WNBA refs received massive backlash after.

"Every year when we have our league meetings, we say the same things over and over and nothing has changed. I'm not sure outside of continuing to submit clips and continuing to talk about it (what to do to make officials get better/change)." Fever coach Stephanie White said.

"Their job is hard…the game has changed so much. Players are faster, bigger, better and stronger (more athletic)…the game is fast now and things are happening quickly...Everything's getting better except for the officials."
