Indiana Fever Share Exciting Natasha Howard Post on Tuesday

The Indiana Fever are officially the WNBA's Commissioner's Cup Champions. 

Indiana defeated the Minnesota Lynx, 74-59, in the Commissioner's Cup Championship, earning a $500,000 bonus for the team. 

After the game, the WNBA announced the Commissioner's Cup MVP, honoring Indiana Fever star Natasha Howard. 

"MVP," posted the official social media account of the Indiana Fever, reacting to the WNBA news. "Natasha Howard is our UNANIMOUS Commissioner’s Cup MVP." 

In the championship game against the Lynx, Natasha Howard posted 16 points, 12 rebounds and four assists. 

The WNBA also reacted to the news, sharing a video of league commissioner Cathy Engelbert announcing the news on Natasha Howard. 

"MVP STATUS," posted the official social media account of the WNBA. "Natasha Howard led the @indianafever with 16 PTS, 12 REB, 4 AST to claim the 2025 WNBA Commissioner’s Cup presented by @coinbase Championship!"

Howard was also named the "Stat Leader of the Game" for the Indiana Fever. 

Natasha Howard is in her first season back with the Indiana Fever after beginning her WNBA career with the organization. 

Howard first started her WNBA career in 2014. She played two seasons with the Fever, from 2014 to 2015, after spending several years away from the team. 

The Fever forward also played for the Minnesota Lynx, Seattle Storm, New York Liberty and Dallas Wings

During her first season back with the Indiana Fever, Natasha Howard has posted 11.2 points, 6.5 rebounds and 0.9 assists per game. 

Several other players had great showings against the Minnesota Lynx, such as Aliyah Boston and Sophie Cunningham. 

Boston finished the game with 12 points, 11 rebounds and six assists while Cunningham capped off the game with 13 points, seven rebounds and one assists.
