Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark did not get to play as much basketball as she hoped during the 2025 season, but she upheld her reputation while injuries kept her on the sidelines throughout the Fever's run to the WNBA semifinals.
Clark only played 13 games during the season, posting averages of 16.5 points, 5 rebounds and 8.8 assists per game. By the time a nagging groin injury officially ended her season in September, she had already embraced her role as an extra coach and motivator from the bench. Meanwhile, All-Stars Kelsey Mitchell (20.2 points per game) and Aliyah Boston (15 points per game) shouldered the load on the court for head coach Stephanie White's team.
After the WNBA season, Boston reflected on the personalities in the locker room that made the 2025 Fever team what it was. On Boston's and Candace Parker's "Post Moves" podcast, the Indiana center dished out superlatives to her teammates, including Clark.
Boston named veteran guard Sydney Colson as the funniest, forward Brianna Turner as the best chef and forward Natasha Howard as the player with the best playlist — besides herself. Clark's superlative was less flattering, but Boston embraced her for it all the same.

"Loudest teammate? Caitlin," Boston said. "Caitlin is very loud. She’s a yapper, but I love her. That’s our yapper."
Clark's identity as the loudest teammate made her the perfect fit for Indiana's "bench mob " during the playoff run. She joined Sophie Cunningham, Chloe Bibby, Aari McDonald and Colson in a group of five players who were ruled out with season-ending injuries, but took pride in vocally supporting their teammates and putting pressure on WNBA officials.

In the offseason, Clark has capitalized on her reputation by putting her voice to good use. She has been making history off the court and raking in six-figure appearance fees at recent high-profile speaking engagements across the country.
