Indiana Fever Starter Raises Eyebrows With New Post After DeWanna Bonner Report

Amid a two-game losing streak, Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever were dealt some unfortunate news ahead of Tuesday's matchup against the Seattle Storm.

According to Front Office Sports’ Annie Costabile, Fever forward DeWanna Bonner, who signed with the team in the offseason, is no longer interested in playing for Indiana. Bonner has notably missed the Fever’s last four games due to personal reasons.

"According to multiple league sources, the Indiana Fever and DeWanna Bonner are headed for a breakup," Costabile wrote on X.

Shortly after the report went down, another Fever newcomer, center Natasha Howard, left a cryptic post on her Instagram story using lyrics from rapper 42 Dugg's "We Not Done."

"We not done, still running through the bows. Who shot cuz? I think I know who did it. Who shot? Yeah, one of my (expletive). We not done, yeah, we not done spinning. We not done, yeah, I bet' not catch you chilling."

Although it is unclear what she meant, WNBA fans took notice of Howard's cryptic post, taking to social media to leave their thoughts.

"I have no idea what that means lol," one fan said.

"What does that mean?" asked another.

"Howard is lazy as (expletive) and needs to go and I don’t give a (expletive) what she says because she has been a me me me player so don’t let the door hit you in the (expletive) along with Turner, Bonner and White," wrote a third.

"Are her & DB beefin?" questioned a fourth.

"She said you the enemy now," claimed a fifth.

"Calling DB soft as charmin," added a sixth.

Through 13 games, Howard has started every contest, averaging 11.3 points and 6.4 rebounds per game. However, the potential loss of Bonner could leave Indiana with a major hole on the bench.
