Indiana Fever's Lexie Hull Comments on Caitlin Clark's Personality

Ever since Caitlin Clark arrived in the WNBA in 2024 as the Indiana Fever’s No. 1 overall pick, she has bonded well and developed a close relationship with veteran guard Lexie Hull.

Who could forget that time when the two randomly reviewed sodas during Clark’s first offseason? This campaign, they also checked out and assessed several Canadian snacks during their first visit to Canada, alongside teammate Sophie Cunningham.

Sure enough, it’s safe to say that Hull has been Clark’s closest friend ever since she became a pro. That being said, the former Stanford star has certainly gotten to know the All-Star playmaker on a deeper and more personal level compared with her other teammates.

Now, in an interview with The Athletic, Hull gave fans an insight into what Clark is like outside the basketball court and whenever she’s just with her teammates and friends.

“She is a sarcastic, always-right, silly goose who just wants to have fun,” Hull said of Clark. “Even in the midst of chaos and frustration, whether we’re winning or losing or whether there’s a crazy headline out there, she continues to bring smiles and happiness to us.”

For what it’s worth, it’s not the first time that a teammate has commented on Clark’s personality off the court. Previously, Cunningham also stated that the Fever guard is “strictly basketball” on the court and is “very simple” off it.

“She loves to sit on the couch. She loves to watch TV. She’s very simple. It’s been a blessing that she has been in our league,” Cunningham said.

Clark is known for her competitiveness on the court. She wears her heart on her sleeve, and she’s never afraid to say what she’s thinking.

Beyond that fiery attitude, however, is a fun-loving person who simply wants to keep life simple.
