Kaitlyn Chen is now a WNBA champion. The second-year guard helped the Golden State Valkyries defeat the Atlanta Dream in the WNBA Finals to become the fastest expansion franchise to win a title.

Chen, who was selected by the Valkyries in the third round of the 2025 draft, averaged 7.2 points, 1.1 rebounds and 1.9 assists in 44 games during the 2026 regular season. In the playoffs, she put up 3.9 points and 1.1 assists while appearing in all 13 games.

The 24-year-old guard’s best performance in the postseason came in Game 1 of the Valkyries’ second-round series with the Las Vegas Aces, during which she recorded 11 points, three rebounds, one assist and one block in 22 minutes of action.

Now, as Chen and the rest of the Valkyries continue to celebrate their accomplishment, the former UConn guard is set to spend time with her fans on Thursday.

Bay Area-based hobby shop Lefty’s Sports Card announced on Tuesday that Chen is scheduled to make an appearance at the store, alongside her Valkyries teammate Veronica Burton.

Chen and Burton will sign autographs at the event, which will last an hour and a half.

“ATTENTION FANS OF THE 2026 WNBA CHAMPION GOLDEN STATE VALKYRIES,” Lefty’s Sports Card wrote. “Veronica Burton and Kaitlyn Chen will be at Lefty’s this Thursday, November 5th from 7-8:30 pm!”

As of this writing, all tickets for the event are sold out. It’s unclear when the Golden State players will hold their next autograph signing, but Lefty’s Sports Card indicated in its announcement that there will be a “few Valkyries signings.”
