It may be the heart of the offseason in the WNBA, but on Sunday night, a major trade went down involving the Las Vegas Aces, Seattle Storm and the Los Angeles Sparks.

According to ESPN's Shams Charania , "The Seattle Storm are trading six-time All-Star Jewell Loyd to the Las Vegas Aces in a multi-team move that sends three-time All-Star Kelsey Plum to the Los Angeles Sparks, sources tell me, Ramona Shelburne, Alexa Philippou and Kendra Andrews."

Additionally, the Sparks received the No. 9 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft from the Storm and Seattle acquired the No. 2 overall pick and Li Yueru from the Los Angeles. Meanwhile, the Aces obtained the No. 13 overall pick from the Sparks.

Kelsey Plum has spent the last six seasons with the Aces after being drafted by the San Antonio Stars, who later became the Aces following her rookie year. She played a key role in Las Vegas' back-to-back WNBA championships in 2022 and 2023.

Now, she lands with the Sparks, who finished last in the WNBA with an 8-32 record. She brings career averages of 14.3 points, 2.5 rebounds and 4.0 assists to Los Angeles.

For Lloyd, she requested a trade in December after spearheading a complaint about the Storm coaching staff. The complaint later led to a nearly two-week investigation into allegations of bullying and harassment.

Two months later, the Storm agreed on a deal to part ways with her.
