The Las Vegas Aces will look to get back into the groove of things as they travel to take on the red-hot Minnesota Lynx.

As they are set to tip off against the Lynx on Monday night, the Aces gave an update on 2024 WNBA MVP A'ja Wilson.

After sustaining a concussion in the third quarter of a 97-89 loss to the Los Angeles Sparks on June 11, the Aces announced that Wilson will be missing her third straight game on Tuesday.

In the June 11 game, Wilson blocked a shot and took an elbow to the face from the Sparks' Dearica Hamby in the third quarter.

Wilson would try to continue in the game, playing until the final minutes of the quarter, but would later exit and not return.

This would later turn into Wilson entering concussion protocol, and this is why she hasn't played since the loss to the Sparks.

Her absence has resulted in the Aces going 1-1 since she her last outing, resulting in a 5-5 season record heading into the matchup against the Lynx.

The Aces have used two different players in replace of Wilson. Elizabeth Kitley made her first start of the season in the June 13 win over the Dallas Wings, while Tiffany Mitchell got the nod in the June 15 loss to the Phoenix Mercury.

It remains unclear who head coach Becky Hammon will start in Wilson's absence on Tuesday, but replacing the 20.9 PTS, 9.6 REB, 4.0 AST, 2.0 STL and 2.6 BLK per game Wilson has averaged won't be easy against the Minnesota Lynx.
