Las Vegas Aces Draft Recap
Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The Las Vegas Aces had four picks in the WNBA Draft, three in the second round and one in the third. Las Vegas took point guard Dyaisha Fair, shooting guard Kate Martin, and center Elizabeth Kitley with the three picks. With the last pick, Las Vegas picked Angel Jackson.

Dyaisha Fair Syracuse

Fair is a 5-foot-5 point guard who plays with no fear and can score from anywhere. This season, Fair shot 37.7% from the field. Fair could add depth in the backcourt to an Aces team that is going for a three-peat. Fair poured in 22.3 points per game.

Kate Martin Iowa

Martin played with Caitlin Clark, and she is a smart player who will do anything to help her team. Matin averaged 13.1 points per game on 50% shooting from the field and 37% shooting from beyond the arc. Martin is also a good defender and will add spacing to the Aces roster.

Elizabeth Kitley Virginia Tech

Kitley suffered an ACL in the last game of the regular season on March 3 and will likely not play this season. When healthy, she can provide anothe post presence for the Aces with her fadeaway jumper and moves around the rim. Before her injury, Kitley
averaged 22.8 points and 11.4 rebounds per game.

Angel Jackson Jackson State

Jackson averaged 10 points and 6.8 rebounds per game at Jackson State this past season. She is also a strong rim protector, blocking 2.9 shots per game this season.

Outlook

Las Vegas added some nice depth pieces that can help their team right away and also develop while playing. Fair could give them scoring punch off the bench, Martin outside shooting and defense, and Jackson rim protecting. Kitley will need time to heal up, but she will be a good addition when she is healthy with her post-presence and rebound.
