Caitlin Clark’s first signature shoes, the Nike Caitlin 1s, has been a massive hit. The Swoosh brand continues its all-out campaign for it and released a new colorway on Friday. The three-time WNBA All-Star’s Indiana Fever teammate, Lexie Hull, reacted to it on her Instagram story.
The Fever are already deep in their offseason. They qualified for the playoffs with a 28-16 regular-season record and secured the No. 6 seed. Clark, Hull and Co. faced the Las Vegas Aces in the first round and extended the series to a deciding Game 3 on Oct. 1. However, they failed to advance to the next round, losing 94-83.
Indiana’s coaching staff inserted Hull in the starting five early in the season. She showcased her ability to knock down timely baskets and played with a lot of energy. Clark, on the other hand, enjoyed her best pro campaign. She earned her third All-Star nod and set new WNBA marks, along with her inclusion in the Team USA roster for the FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin.
Nike released the Nike Caitlin 1 Jinx of Friday, in time for Halloween. It features a black and slime-green upper and is glow-in-the dark for a spooky vibe. Hull reposted a photo of it from an unboxing and added a short caption while tagging her teammate.
“spooooooky @caitlinclark22 @caitlin1,” Hull wrote.
