Lexie Hull sends strong message to Indiana Fever star

The Indiana Fever are having their best year in franchise history. Despite starting the 2026 WNBA season at 5-5, they now hold a 26-14 record . Head coach Stephanie White has an array of talent that can help lead the Fever to a championship. Players like Caitlin Clark, Lexie Hull and Kelsey Mitchell, among others, have played key roles in Indiana’s success.

Mitchell leads the Fever in scoring, averaging 25.0 points along with 2.8 assists and 1.1 steals. She has also been available for Indiana all season long, playing all 40 games so far. The 5-foot-8 guard has emerged as one of their leaders since being drafted with the second overall pick in 2018.

Lexie Hull has high praise for Indiana Fever teammate Kelsey Mitchell

Mitchell is now a four-time WNBA All-Star, and she is having the best season of her career. She was named to the All-WNBA First Team last season after helping the Fever win the WNBA Commissioner’s Cup.

The nine-year veteran was rewarded with a one-year, $1.4 million supermax extension during the offseason to return to Indiana. She has proven that she is worth all that money, emerging as the league’s second-leading scorer this season.

The WNBA is now on its midseason break to cater to the ongoing FIBA Women’s World Cup in Berlin. Mitchell shared some of her favorite moments from this season, posting the photos on her Instagram account.

Hull was among the Fever players who commented on Mitchell’s post. She had a strong message for the 5-foot-8 guard.

“1 of 1,” Hull wrote.

After the break, Indiana will have four regular-season games left. Mitchell and Co. will have the chance to set the franchise record for wins in a single season at 30. If they do that, they will likely carry the momentum into the postseason.
