The Phoenix Mercury drafted Brittney Griner in 2013, and she became one of the franchise's best players. She helped them win a championship, she set records, and when it is all said and done, her number will likely be retired by the franchise. The Mercury have drafted many players over the years, and some of them had long stints with the franchise. There were others who spent less time with the team, but they still had a chance to showcase their talents. When it comes to the Mercury's 2012 draft picks, at least one of them fits in that category. Phoenix had three picks that year, and they selected a talented guard in the first round. They drafted Samantha Prahalis , who spent her college years at Ohio State. She averaged 19.8 points, 6.3 assists, 4.1 rebounds and 2.2 steals in her final season, which was her best. Prahalis went on to have a solid rookie year with the Mercury, and she averaged 11.6 points, 4.5 assists, 3.2 rebounds and 1.6 steals. The former Ohio State guard had the best game of her WNBA care
