The Minnesota Lynx have clinched the best 2025 regular-season record in the WNBA, which means they will have the No. 1 seed in this year's postseason.

Minnesota responded after Thursday night's second-half collapse against the Storm with a comfortable 24-point win on the road against the Connecticut Sun on Saturday night.

DiJonai Carrington tied a game-high with 18 points off the bench in only 17 minutes of play. Alanna Smith added 18 points, Napheesa Collier had 17 points and nine rebounds, Kayle McBride had 15 points and six assists and Courtney Williams was the last of five Minnesota players in double figures with 15 points and eight rebounds.

The Sun entered Saturday's game with a 10-28 record on the season, but Minnesota proved there are levels. It was a dominant defensive performance, forcing 15 Connecticut turnovers and holding them to 36.2% shooting from the field.

Now, 31-8 on the season, the Lynx have five regular-season games left on the schedule, but very little to play for. Collier will look to wrap up her WNBA MVP campaign before the playoffs officially begin on September 14.
