The Lynx were looking for a win on the second day of a back-to-back Thursday and they got what they were in search of with a 91-82 victory over the Sparks in Los Angeles.
Natisha Hiedeman led the Lynx with a season-high 18 points while Napheesa Collier finished with 17 points, eight rebounds and five assists. Courtney Williams added 16 points and Alanna Smith had 15.
The Sparks jumped out to a 26-22 lead despite Hiedeman exploding for 10 points in the first quarter.

Hiedeman's 16 first-half points helped Minnesota secure a 50-40 lead at the half.
Collier was held to eight points in the first half before she found her groove with nine points in the third quarter, fueling the Lynx to a 80-59 lead entering the final 10 minutes. The Sparks clawed back, but was too little, too late.
The Lynx are now 18-3 on the season. They've been busy with four games in the last six days, and they'll only have two days off before games against the Sky in Chicago on Saturday and Monday.
