WASHINGTON — As the Phoenix Mercury continues their road trip with a full squad for the first time this season, head coach Nate Tibbetts is tasked with creating different rotations than what we’ve seen earlier this season.
With injuries to different key players throughout the year, Tibbetts has had to rely heavily on his bench and give extra minutes to a few starters. Now that everyone is back, and the addition of DeWanna Bonner, his rotations are also changing. In the past few games, Kiana Williams and Kalani Brown haven’t been in many of the rotations.
When asked by Stephen PridGeon-Garner ahead of Phoenix’s game against the Washington Mystics on Sunday, Tibbetts said set rotations haven’t been a “luxury” for this team.
