According to ActionNetwork.com, Minnesota Lynx fans are #1 for the most foul-mouthed fanbase in the WNBA. ActionNetwork.com analyzed the subreddits of all 13 WNBA teams to find out which WNBA team’s fans are the most polite, and on the contrary, the most foul-mouthed. Read on for the full study.

Minnesota Lynx Fans Are Most Foul-Mouthed

Midwestern nice exists, but ActionNetwork.com found the Minnesota Lynx fans as the most foul-mouthed fanbase in the WNBA. According to ActionNetwork.com’s analysis of more than 77,000 comments, the Lynx were found to be the most foul-mouthed fandom since 3.076% of the comments on the Lynx’s subreddit included swear words.

The New York Liberty trailed as the second most foul-mouthed fanbase, with 2.42% of the comments on the Liberty’s subreddit including swear words. The Chicago Sky was in third place, with 2.406% of the comments on the Sky’s subreddit including swear words.

Minnesota Lynx’s Polar Opposites

Southern hospitality isn’t always the case, but ActionNetwork.com found the Dallas Wings fans as the most polite fanbase in the WNBA. Just 0.948% of the comments on the Wings subreddit included swear words. A polar opposite in the WNBA and even the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks.

The Connecticut Sun trailed as the second most polite fanbase, with just 1.076% of the comments on the Sun’s subreddit including swear words. The politeness of the Sun fanbase can also be attributed to the culture in New England as many New Englanders are well-behaved.

Final Thoughts

The Minnesota Lynx fanbase is the most foul-mouthed in the WNBA, while the Dallas Wings are the most polite fanbase in the league. ActionNetwork.com conducted the analysis in May 2025. In total, ActionNetwork.com analyzed 77, 582 comments from 13 subreddits of the 2025 WNBA fanbases on Reddit.
