Los Angeles Sparks star Cameron Brink recently went to social media to express her pride for her fiancé, Ben Felter, as he recently reached an educational and career milestone.

In a recent story on Instagram, Cameron Brink proudly flexed her fiancé, Ben Felter, for recently obtaining his master’s degree in Computer Science from Stanford University. In her story, Brink referred to Felter as her “handsome man” and expressed how proud she is of him.

“My handsome man got his Master’s,” Brink wrote in her story’s caption. “So incredibly proud I love you.”

Before obtaining a master’s degree, Felter also completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science in 2024, still from Stanford. The university is meaningful to him and his fiancé, as it is where they started their relationship. Felter was a rower on the Stanford team, and Brink was an accomplished basketball player.

In addition to his education, he has had a distinguished career as a portfolio analyst for the U.S. Department of Defense and an AI research engineer with Lockheed Martin; he has distinguished himself in education as well as his work.

When it comes to Cameron Brink, the Sparks star has expressed in the past that she continues on her recovery journey, and has plans set for a return to court sometime this season. He has also opened up, through her podcast, about the struggles of training again for basketball, admitting that most of the routine has slipped from his mental and physical memory.

Cameron Brink Calls For Bigger WNBA Rosters

In one of the recent episodes of her podcast “Straight to Cam,” Cameron Brink expressed her honest opinion on the issue of the roster size of WNBA teams, and how the current limits can place teams in a critical position and danger of calling for hardship.

“I think now rosters need to be expanded before you know we add any more expansion teams,” the second-year Sparks star said. “Like we’ve had, you know, three people out. Now we’re at 10 people. It puts a lot of strain on people that are signed into hardships, you know all of that.”

Recently, this season, the Indiana Fever applied for an emergency hardship extension when multiple injuries plagued their roster and brought their player count to critical levels. In times like this, the WNBA allows a franchise to acquire someone on a temporary contract to fill in the gaps until team members have returned to the roster.
