Paige Bueckers and Azzi Fudd are no longer a romantic item.
Bueckers and Fudd announced Friday on Fudd’s “Fudd Around And Find Out” podcast that they have broken up. The two said that they split over a year ago and added that they remain friends and are moving forward together as professionals and as teammates.
In the video, Bueckers further revealed that she and Fudd were no longer together when Fudd was first drafted to the Dallas Wings earlier this year. Here is the full clip of the announcement.

Bueckers, 25, and Fudd, 23, were teammates in college at UConn and won an NCAA championship together in 2025. The two had known and been close with each other for some years before that however, having been teammates on the U16 USA Basketball national team.
Last year, Bueckers, who was the No. 1 overall pick to the Wings in 2025, confirmed that she was dating Fudd. The two were then reunited when Fudd was also selected No. 1 overall by the Wings in 2026 (something that Bueckers was incredibly hyped about in the moment).
But with the relationship between the two crossing over from personal to professional, an awkward situation quickly arose. The Wings had to shut down media questions about the Bueckers-Fudd relationship, and Bueckers herself also made a public plea for privacy at one point.
Now after a 2026 WNBA season in which Dallas went 27-17 but lost in the first round to the eventual champion Golden State Valkyries, Bueckers and Fudd have officially announced that they are no longer together.
