The Dallas Wings suffered a tough loss on Sunday, falling 102-83 to Caitlin Clark and the Indiana Fever, dropping to 6-16 on the season.

Despite the team’s struggles through 22 games, one thing has become clear: the face of the franchise is emerging in rookie guard Paige Bueckers. The No. 1 overall pick has quickly made her mark at the WNBA level and continues to excel in her debut season.

Bueckers led all scorers on Sunday with 21 points, further solidifying her status as the runaway favorite for Rookie of the Year. She's currently averaging 18.3 points, 5.4 assists, 4.1 rebounds, and 1.7 steals per game, while shooting 45.6% from the field and 33.9% from beyond the arc.

Off the court, Bueckers is expanding her presence in the business world. On Monday, she announced a new brand partnership with Wingstop, sharing the news with her followers on Instagram.

“Drafted to the flavor league,” Bueckers posted. “Officially part of the first-ever Wingstop Rookie Draft Class.”

The former UConn star even introduced her own Wingstop meal bundle, writing, “Now you can get like me. My very own Wingstop bundle just dropped. Tap in with my go-to flavors, or mix it up… I won’t judge. With 12 fire flavors, you really can’t go wrong.”

Paige Bueckers now holds brand deals with Nike, Gatorade, Bose, StockX, Chegg, DoorDash, Ally Financial, and most recently, Wingstop. Much like the massive fan followings Caitlin Clark and Angel Reese brought to the WNBA after being drafted in 2024, Bueckers is right there in that same conversation.

With her rapid rise in popularity and on-court performance, she could very well be the next WNBA star to receive a signature sneaker—joining Reese, who has one on the way with Reebok in 2026, and Clark, whose Nike signature shoe is also expected to launch next year.
