Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers had a phenomenal first year in the WNBA. After being selected first overall in the 2025 Draft, Bueckers went on to become an All-Star, a member of the All-WNBA Second Team and the Rookie of the Year.
Bueckers averaged 19.2 points, 3.9 rebounds, 5.4 assists and 1.6 steals in 36 games last season. She was also highly efficient offensively, making 47.7% of her shots from the field.
The Wings guard is expected to have an even better campaign in 2026, especially after the work she put in during the offseason.
Not only did Bueckers play in Unrivaled, but she also made her U.S. senior national team debut during the FIBA Women's World Cup Qualifying Tournament. Furthermore, many have noticed that she has worked on her physique over the last few months.
On Monday, Bleacher Report shared a video from the Wings' media day, showing Bueckers posing for the camera. When the photographer asked her to do a flex pose, Bueckers obliged while making some funny commentary.
What stood out from the video, however, was Bueckers' much more defined muscles compared to when she first arrived in the WNBA. Fans couldn't help but comment on it, with one even saying, "Paige been working!!"
"How did she get so big??" a commenter asked in disbelief. Another one said, "Her arm man."
"Paige looks good the muscle weight is going to help her this season," a supporter added.
A fifth follower shared, "Big gains."
"She looking skronggg," a social media user stated.
The wait to see Bueckers in action shouldn't be long, as she and the Wings are set to play the Indiana Fever in a preseason showdown on Thursday.
Sure enough, it will be interesting to see how her new physique translates to performance in the WNBA.
