During an interview with WAG Talk at this weekend’s WNBA All-Star festivities, Dallas Wings star Paige Bueckers officially confirmed her relationship with former UConn teammate Azzi Fudd. After answering multiple questions about her unnamed girlfriend, Bueckers revealed that she was, in fact, dating Fudd at the end of the interview.
Bueckers and Fudd played three seasons together at UConn. The duo went out strong with a National Championship victory over South Carolina in 2025.

Bueckers and Fudd had long been rumored to have been dating, going all the way back to their UConn days. Thursday night marked the first official confirmation of the pairing.
The Dallas Wings star is gearing up for her first WNBA All-Star game, as she became just the latest rookie phenomenon to be selected for the event. Prior to being selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2025 WNBA Draft, Bueckers established herself as one of the greatest women’s college basketball players in recent history.
She was named a three-time unanimous First Team All-American, won the John R. Wooden Award, Naismith College Player of the Year Award and AP Player of the Year Award in 2021 and cemented her legacy with an NCAA Championship in 2025.
“Some conversations are light and fun and don’t mean anything,” head coach Geno Auriemma said after sharing a special moment with Bueckers following the national title victory. “But today was the first one, I think, in five years that all the emotions that have been building inside of me came out. They came out here because in the five years that she’s been at Connecticut, I’ve never seen her cry. And she might deny it, but she cried because she’s going to miss me.”
In her first season in the league, Bueckers is already shining. She is averaging 18.4 points, 5.5 assists and 4.1 rebounds per game.
Azzi Fudd was a phenomenal college player as well, as she was named First Team All-Big East and the NCAA Tournament Most Outstanding Player in 2025. She scored 24 points and grabbed five rebounds in the win over South Carolina, cementing UConn‘s 12th National Championship.
